EnvSciAPex Privacy Policy
Overview
EnvSciAPex is an AP Environmental Science study app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how that information is used, and what choices users have.
EnvSciAPex is designed to minimize data collection. At this time, the app does not require account creation and does not provide user-to-user social features.
Information We Collect
The app stores limited learning-related information locally on the user’s device, such as progress on practice items, unlocked or completed content state, locally seeded study content, and app preferences.
If a user purchases premium access, the app uses Apple StoreKit to request product information, complete purchases, restore purchases, and determine entitlement status. EnvSciAPex does not directly process or store full payment card information.
At this time, the app does not intentionally collect account profile information, precise location data, contacts, photos, camera data, microphone recordings, or advertising identifiers for third-party ads.
How Information Is Used

Sharing
EnvSciAPex does not currently sell personal information. Information may be shared only as needed through Apple platform services that support app operation, including App Store and StoreKit purchase processing.
Retention and Device Storage
Most current user study data is stored locally on the device. If the app is deleted, locally stored data may also be deleted by the operating system. Purchase rights associated with Apple ID may still be restorable through Apple’s systems, depending on Apple policies and account status.
Children’s Privacy
EnvSciAPex is an education app and may be used by students. The app is not intended to knowingly collect unnecessary personal information from children.
Educational Use Only
EnvSciAPex is a study and test-prep tool. It is not a source of environmental, medical, legal, engineering, or policy advice.

Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using EnvSciAPex, the user agrees to these Terms of Service. If the user does not agree, the app should not be used.
Service Description
EnvSciAPex is an educational mobile app that provides AP Environmental Science study materials, skill explanations, practice questions, and case-based learning content. Some content is available for free, while other content requires a premium purchase.
Educational Purpose Only
The app is intended solely for education, study, and test preparation. It does not provide environmental consulting, legal advice, engineering advice, medical or health advice, regulatory compliance advice, or official College Board scoring or endorsement.
Purchases and Premium Access
Premium access is offered through Apple’s in-app purchase system. Prices may change in future versions. Purchases are processed by Apple, and purchase restoration depends on Apple entitlement and account rules.
License and Permitted Use
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use EnvSciAPex for personal, non-commercial educational use.

Accuracy and Availability

EnvSciAPex is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to app use, including claims related to exam performance, academic decisions, study outcomes, or reliance on educational content.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
