Privacy Policy

Overview

NeuroX is an educational iOS app designed to help users study neuroscience through guided reasoning, practice questions, and case-based analysis. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles, how that information is used, and what choices are available to users.

No Account Requirement

NeuroX does not require account creation or sign-in to use the core app experience. At the time of this policy, NeuroX does not provide user-to-user messaging, public profiles, or cloud-synced social features.

Information the App Handles

NeuroX is designed to operate primarily with on-device data. The app may store limited information locally on the device to support normal operation, including learning progress, exercise completion state, premium unlock state and restore-related local cache, and app preferences and local UI state.

Purchases

NeuroX may offer an optional one-time non-consumable in-app purchase for premium access. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and the App Store. NeuroX does not receive full payment card details.

Analytics and Tracking

At the time of this policy, NeuroX does not use third-party advertising SDKs in the app, does not use in-app tracking for targeted advertising, and does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.

Sensitive Permissions

NeuroX does not currently require access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, health data, or similar sensitive device permissions. If a future release adds permissions or changes data practices, this policy should be updated before release.

How Information Is Used

The limited information handled by the app is used to display learning progress, preserve practice continuity and completion state, manage premium access state, support app stability and expected functionality, and respond to support, privacy, accessibility, or billing inquiries sent directly to the publisher.

Data Sharing and Retention

NeuroX does not sell personal information. NeuroX does not share user study progress with third-party advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Most study data used by NeuroX is stored locally on the device. That local data generally remains on the device until the app is deleted, the device is reset, or the app's local data is otherwise cleared.

Direct support emails, accessibility reports, privacy requests, or billing inquiries sent to the publisher may be retained for a reasonable period as needed to respond, investigate, document, or comply with legal obligations.

California Privacy Rights

NeuroX is published from California. If you are a California resident and have a privacy question or want to request access, correction, deletion, or additional details about personal information directly provided to the publisher, contact JT Scientific at jtscientific2016@gmail.com.

Some California privacy rights apply only when a business meets specific statutory thresholds or processes certain categories of information. Requests will be handled based on the information actually maintained by the publisher.

Children and International Use

NeuroX is an educational app and is not intentionally designed to collect personal information from children through account registration or social features. If a parent or guardian believes personal information was directly provided to the publisher by a child, they may contact the publisher to request review.

If NeuroX is used outside the United States, users understand that direct support communications may be processed in the United States or where the publisher operates.
